On Saturday November 22nd the Far Rockaway Community Coalition was formed with the understanding of a vision and need for better networking/collaboration with the community and its members. This committee will be the driving force for creating cultural, economical and educational resources and opportunities by working/partnering with the residents, businesses and other organizations in and outside of the community for the community. As a community group that is focused on building a more connected community of people, we stand by our goals of fostering the needed collaboration and networking that will integrate consumers, businesses and the educational institutions together towards higher heights.

Our success depends heavily on the support and commitment of our community members/residents/businesses and it is our desire to work with everyone in achieving the goals being set. We are always listening and willing to do what we can to make this an invaluable resource for all.

Our online/web infrastructure is being developed and implemented and we will keep you updated and current on it development as we go along.

Our mission statement is:

To proactively facilitate growth and development of the community resources by strategizing on the benefits and values for our residents.

So join us as we embark on this initiative as a connected, proactive, resourceful and strategic Community Network for/by the people of Far Rockaways.
